Established in 2024

My name is Amy and I’m an artist raising my son in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The arts have always been at the heart of who I am. Over the years, I’ve explored creativity in many different forms and mediums—each one allowing me to express myself, connect with others, and find purpose. What once began as a personal passion has grown into something much
bigger than I ever imagined. Today, I feel deeply grateful that I get to craft not just for joy, but as a career.

Ornamentopia was originally created under Daria Done Ems by fellow female entrepreneur Daria Petch in Gananoque, Ontario. With a remarkable eye for design and a deep-rooted creativity, she brought the original vision for the company to life— one centered on meaningful, handcrafted pieces that celebrate life’s most cherished moments. Her work laid a beautiful foundation, and her passion is still reflected in the spirit of the brand today.

In 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to purchase the company as Daria and Alec stepped into retirement. With that transition, Ornamentopia found a new home in Saskatoon, where I now carry the creative vision forward. Stepping into this role has been both an honour and a responsibility—one that I approach with deep respect for what was built before me, while also embracing the chance to grow and evolve the brand in my own way.

At its heart, Ornamentopia is about more than just ornaments. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to help create lasting traditions, capture meaningful milestones, and tell the unique story of a family. Whether it’s celebrating a first Christmas, welcoming a new member, or
remembering a special moment in time, our ornaments are intended to become treasured keepsakes for years to come.

Thank you!

Today, Ornamentopia continues to grow as a blend of its original roots and new creative direction—grounded in purpose, inspired by connection, and dedicated to helping people celebrate what matters most. I thank each and every one of you for your continued interest and support in my craft; I am truly grateful to be a part of this long-lived legacy company!
